As I sit down to write this, I feel a deep sense of excitement and gratitude. Life has brought me to yet another turn in my work, one that feels both natural and transformative. While I will continue to teach in a more traditional Buddhist way, my main focus going forward will be to develop and deepen my work alongside my wife, Kristina.
This shift is not just about expanding what I do; it’s about creating a synergy that brings together two unique paths, two sets of experiences, and two deeply aligned hearts. Kristina is not only my partner in life but also a profound healer, teacher, and guide whose work inspires me every day.
Introducing Kristina
Kristina’s journey into the healing arts is a story of dedication, depth, and authenticity. With degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Roskilde University, she combines an academic foundation with decades of hands-on experience. She’s a certified Garden Therapist from Sweden’s Agricultural University, a trained Psychotherapist from the Psychotherapist Institute Copenhagen, and a certified Yoga teacher.
Her work is further enriched by her training as a Clairvoyant Healer from the Healer School Copenhagen, where she honed her intuitive abilities to help clients unlock deeper layers of healing and self-discovery. Kristina is also a devoted student of A Course in Miracles, a profound spiritual text that informs her approach to life and healing.
Kristina embodies the power of the 10 cosmic powers, a concept that permeates her healing practice with profound feminine wisdom. In this context, she has held sacred women’s groups and cacao ceremonies, creating spaces for empowerment, connection, and healing. These gatherings offer a deep connection to the divine feminine, fostering transformation and a sense of community among the participants.
She is also educated in a variety of massage techniques and brings a unique ability to perceive and move stuck energy within others. Through her work, Kristina helps people release blockages and restore harmony in their bodies, minds, and spirits.
Beyond her extensive training, Kristina is an accomplished plant medicine Shaman with many years of experience, particularly working with the Queen of the Forest. Over the past two years, Kristina and I have had the privilege of sitting with and learning from the Shamans of the Shipibos and Yawayanas in South America. These experiences have deepened not only her connection to plant medicine but also our shared understanding of holistic and ancestral healing traditions.
Kristina has also been a dedicated participant in my teachings and retreats over the past 15 years. This long-standing commitment has given her an intimate understanding of the principles I teach, further enriching our collaboration and grounding our work in the wisdom of the Tibetan Tradition.
One of Kristina’s greatest passions is expressing herself through dance. For her, dance is a form of meditation and an act of freedom. It connects her to her body and the flow of life itself. We are excited to bring this element into our retreats, offering participants the opportunity to explore their own freedom of movement and the joy of embodiment.
Walking as a Practice
Kristina and I also share a love of walking pilgrimages. Together, we have walked in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi and along the Camino de Santiago (St. James’ Way). We walked in the sacred valley of Peru and to the sacred sites of Padmasambhava, Tara and Kali in the valley of Kathmandu. These experiences have taught us the beauty of slowing down, connecting with the earth, and embracing the wisdom of each step.
Walking will play an integral role in our retreats as a way to reconnect with nature, find clarity, and bring mindfulness into movement. Whether traversing forest paths or quiet countryside trails, walking is a practice that reminds us of the simple and profound beauty of being alive.
Bhakti – Devotion
At the heart of our lives and our work lies bhakti—devotion. This devotion is not limited to a single tradition but is instead a living practice of surrender, love, and sacred intention.
Both Kristina and I have received initiations and permissions from Masters to perform healing and protective rites and rituals. These sacred transmissions are woven into our work, allowing us to guide others in deep spiritual transformation.
We cultivate our relationship on a daily basis with archetypes of love and wisdom, including Tara, Jesus, Ganesha, and Padmasambhava. These luminous beings serve as guides and mirrors, reminding us of the higher aspects of consciousness that reside within each of us. Through prayer, meditation, and ritual, we continually align ourselves with their wisdom and compassion.
Kristina also has a profound connection to nature spirits, an ability that brings a unique depth to our retreats. Before any gathering, we take time to connect deeply with the land, listening to its energy and honoring the spirits that reside there. This sacred connection ensures that every retreat happens in harmony with its natural surroundings, amplifying the healing energy of the space.
Kristina loves to create beautiful altars and sacred spaces, infusing them with intention and beauty. Our ceremonies are always unique, reflecting our creativity and the moment’s energy, yet they contain elements of traditional practices. Whether through offerings, fire rituals, mantra chanting, or guided visualizations, our ceremonies are a living expression of devotion.
The Synergy of Our Work
What excites me most about this next chapter is the unique synergy Kristina and I bring to our work together. While my teaching has been deeply anchored in traditional Buddhist practices, Kristina’s approach is intuitive, holistic, and creative. Together, we aim to create a space where the ancient wisdom of mindfulness meets the transformative power of healing arts.
Her ability to work with both the seen and unseen dimensions of healing brings a profound depth to our collaborations. Whether through meditation, intuitive guidance, sacred women’s work, or plant medicine integration, we seek to address not just the surface-level challenges but the root causes of suffering and disconnection.
An Invitation
As we embark on this journey together, I want to extend an invitation to you. Whether you’ve worked with me in the past or are discovering us for the first time, I hope you’ll join us in this new chapter. Our upcoming offerings will reflect not only my traditional teachings but also the transformative and deeply personal work that Kristina brings to the table.
We’ll be hosting retreats, workshops, and sacred gatherings that combine the richness of Buddhist teachings with the intuitive, feminine, and holistic healing practices Kristina embodies. These spaces are designed to help you connect more deeply with yourself, process the challenges of life, and find peace and clarity in the present moment.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude—for Kristina, for this opportunity, and for each of you who continues to walk this path with us. Life, after all, is a series of turns. And with each one, there’s the possibility of something new, something beautiful, and something that speaks to the deepest parts of who we are.Thank you for being part of this journey.
